Export Controls laws restrict the shipment, transmission or transfer of certain items, software, technology and services from the United States to foreign countries, as well as "deemed exports" which are releases of controlled physical items or controlled information to foreign nationals located in the United States. Employees and students traveling on East Texas A&M business or traveling with East Texas A&M property are responsible for complying with Export Controls laws and regulations when traveling outside the U.S.

Export Controls training is available through the TAMUS Single Sign On in Train Traq. Under "Course Catalog" enter 2111212 : Export Controls & Embargo Training - Basic Course. You will need to change the TAMUS Member to "S - Texas A&M System Offices" before entering "Search".
